The North Jutland business beacon CO2Vision has kick-started the innovation project ‘Deployable Green Power Solution,’ which aims to test and demonstrate a green battery as a replacement for diesel generators.
Construction sites, concerts, and major cultural events without noisy and polluting diesel-based generators could soon become a reality in Denmark. The innovation project ‘Deployable Green Power Solution’ brings together partners across the entire value chain from development, production, and consumers and will run until 2026 as part of the North Jutland business beacon, CO2Vision.
The project is based on further innovation of well-known technology from the North Jutland company Advent Technologies’ commercial HTPEM (High Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane) fuel cell solution to a system that performs as well as a traditional diesel generator but with a significant reduction in pollution.
